Eleanor-2 months

We took Eleanor for her two month check up yesterday! She weighed in at 10.2 pounds and was 22.5 inches long.
Snuggled up after those mean old shots!
Daddy lovins
She started cooing and smiling this month and it is the sweetest thing
She is a bubble blowing extraordinaire...which Emerson finds hilarious

Loves for you to hold her up so she can look around

Celebrated her first Thanksgiving
Helped pick out her first Christmas Tree

Has been sleeping 6-7 hours straight for the last two weeks! Hallelujah!

Enjoyed her first Christmas at Mimi and Poppy's

Had her first visit to see Santa

She takes her best naps in Mommy and Daddy's bed

She helped host a bridal shower for Aunt JuJu ;)

Wears size 3 month clothes (Her legs are too long for 0-3)

Not a big fan of pacifiers but we are trying to get her to use one so that Nathan will have an easier way to calm her down once I go back to work :(

All of us were sick at one point this month so we spent a lot of time in doctor's offices. Luckily none of us had anything serious! Breathing treatments work wonders with our girls.
We don't like to wait...

Likes listening to music

Here are a few more of our favorite pics from this month:

Eleanor Grace, we fall more in love with you every single day!

Eleanor is ONE month old!

Already?! How can she be a month old?

It is such a strange, wonderful, exhausting, exhilarating, beautiful change to suddenly be parents to two babies.

We brought Eleanor home the day after she was born (I guess the hospital staff thought we were experts because we already had a child... :/)  and life has been a whirlwind ever since!

She is obviously a newborn so there isn't a ton to report but at one month...

-She is getting in a rhythm of sleeping in 4-5 hour stretches at night.  The last couple of nights she has not wanted to go back in her bassinet after she eats...hopefully that doesn't become a trend, but I do enjoy the snuggles!

-When I weighed her on the bathroom scale the other day she weighed 8.8 pounds (not sure how accurate that is, we go for a check up the Monday after Thanksgiving)

-She is a pretty easy going baby unless her tummy hurts, she has been having some digestion issues. No fun!

-Her eyes are a grayish color at the moment.

-She seems to be the happiest when she is being held or when she is laying on her changing table

-She tries to hold her head up when we hold her, she does a pretty good job!

-We have made it to church two times, both times I wore her in a wrap and she slept almost the entire time.

-Tummy time is not her favorite thing...

-She likes music or white noise

-She uses a pacifier more than Emerson did, but she usually spits it out and gets upset

-She does NOT like sitting still in the car.  (Emerson is always quick to let us know when she is crying...as if we are not sitting two feet away from her. Lol)

-She prefers to not be swaddled because she likes having her arms up by her face.

-She is moving into 0-3 month clothes because the newborn clothes are too short for her legs.

-Her umbilical cord finally fell off when she was three weeks old

-She loves going on walks to pick up Emerson from school. :)

Here are some of our favorite pictures from this month:

When I went to bed Nathan was there...when I woke up both of our children were there and Nathan was gone. Lol
