Happy 7 months!

Seven months old already?! It's so hard for me to believe...she grows more into her own personality each day and this month I think that Emerson has really begun to see Eleanor as her little buddy. They are inseparable at home and it is adorable to watch!

Here are the highlights from this month:

Jibber jabbers and mimics "hi"

Very content to sit up and play with her toys, toys that make noise are her fave right now

Enjoys being outside (going for walks, sitting and watching Emerson play, etc.)

Loves to kick and splash in the bathtub! 

Likes being read to

LOVES playing with Emerson, the louder and more in her face Emerson is, the bigger Eleanor laughs! 

Acts like she is shy around new people (buries her face into me or her dad) 

Loves to people watch...must get that from her mama 

Spent her first night at Mimi and Poppy's

Realllllllly does not like baby food.  We've tried several and she is not about it.  We usually end up wearing more than she actually eats.  But we will keep trying!

Happy 7 months sweet girl! We love you more and more every day! 

Eleanor-6 months!

Eleanor is 6 months old!

Better late than never, right? April and May have been SO busy at home and school.  But things should be winding down at work, we are getting closer and closer to summer break and I couldn't be more excited to spend it with my family!

Here is Ellie Bellie's 6 month update:

She is weighing in at 15.9 pounds and is in the 40th percentile for weight and 50th for length.

Sits up really well! And she definitely prefers to do so.

Has tried sweet potatoes and apple sauce...she really isn't a fan.  (that is new territory because Emerson has always loved food)

Grabs anything and everything she can get ahold of.

Growls/screams/makes an abundance of noises, she has definitely found her voice!

Sleeps through the night in her own bed!!

Eating 5-6 ounces at a time

Celebrated her first Easter

Enjoys reading books with Emerson at bedtime

Loves to be outside
